I don't understand using redirect scripts. Why do I need to upload it to my site and how do I do this?
A redirect script is used to generate tracking links from regular links. If you place a redirect script to your website, tracking links will contain your domain. If you don't place a redirect script to your website, tracking links will contain a generic domain.
Placing a redirect script to your website is not required but recommended. If a recipient sees an unknown domain in the link, he may not click for security reasons. But if he sees your domain that he knows, he is likely to click.
You can use your favorite FTP client to upload the redirect script to your website. For example, we used to upload the files to the web site using FlashFXP tool. You can use it too if you don't have any other FTP client.
If you don't manage to upload the redirect script to your web site yourself, feel free to send your website URL, login and password for your FTP server to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will upload the redirect script for you.
